Transport insurance (also known as kasko, or voluntary vehicle insurance) is primarily intended for vehicle owners who wish to have additional insurance cover for their vehicle in addition to compulsory motor insurance. Vehicle insurance protects your vehicle against potential accidents, for example if the driver is at fault in a road accident, if a wild animal runs over your vehicle or if a tree falls on it. Typically, a vehicle insurance policy will cover all risks related to accidents, fire, theft, vandalism and loss. Vehicles are divided into the following categories:
- passenger cars,
- vans,
- trucks,
- Suspension trucks,
- trailers,
- buses,
- mopeds and motorcycles,
- tractors.
The object of the insurance is the vehicle, together with the parts and equipment fitted to the vehicle. In order to ensure full cover, parts of the vehicle with a special design, such as alloy wheels, spoilers, extra lights, taxi equipment, winches, kangaroo bars, extra paintwork, audio, video and other equipment installed in the car, etc., must be separately indicated on the policy. In addition to the standard package, you can choose from:
- glass insurance,
- providing a replacement car,
- new value of insurance.
